about me:

• The bulk of my work time at the moment is spent specifying integrations.
• I have previously done a lot of consulting too, as a product manager, developer and on startup growth.
• Previously, I worked for Shepper, University of Cambridge, Paysafe and was the founding software engineer at Roboteer.
• I've worked in sales, ops, development, business analysis and product management roles in software companies.
• I used to compete in powerlifting and am a national champion in equipped (warning: volume) bench press.

• Doing some self-learning on Kafka at the moment. I think it's a good skill to be able to process lots of events in a short amount of time.
• As a self taught dev, I realised that I have slightly neglected the datastructures and algorithms stuff in favour of production-level python & AWS work. I've started doing a course on it though and it's been fun!
• I'm going to start a Terraform certification in the new year when they release the new version. I've used it a lot and it might be good to have the official cert.
• I have spent too long immersed in Flask, so am learning more about Django again. I did a 6 month Django contract a while back but haven't touched it since!
